Naaah it's not illegal for them to ask you about your ethnicity, but if they don't hire you BECAUSE of your ethnicity, that's discrimination and illegal. Same with age. If it's outta curiosity though, s'all good! =)

about the age thing, i think they do have the right to turn down people who are not at the age of 16. Different companies have different rules about the age thing....so i doubt that's discrimination against the applicant/..

they never said anything about age limits...so yeah. it doesn't matter LOL, i gotten another job already. xD

Hey neonscent,

did u get the call back from Wednesday? Because I also went on an interview at Blenz head office on Wednesday and I remember Pat saying that they would call us within a week, but I still haven't gotten a call. Have you? I think I have a good chance of getting a call back becaues most of the people in my group interview were new to Vancouver and hardly knew any English.
