Re: Where do you work?
I currently work at Off The Wall (Downtown loc.) - 50% off of merchandise and 60% off of house brands (Song, Shank, etc.) if you're a regular sales associate. Everybody's super kind and there are always contests held for the staff on a regular basis.
Before that I used to work at Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory (also downtown, on Robson). 30% off of all goods and any products that can't be sold (open packages, broken chocolate bars, etc.) were free. You also got to eat pretty much anything during the shift for free (as long as you're not stuffing your face in front of customers lol). It was really fun working there. But last I checked the store had mice for several months and apparently they were coming from Tsunami (the sushi restaurant) upstairs. Either way, it was truly disgusting. We'd find our products nibbled on and backstock merchandise nibbled through as well (meaning droppings EVERYwhere!!). Management didn't handle the situation that well. I'm not sure if they still have them or not. |

Re: Where do you work?
Do you get discount? =D
I'm a temp. Right now I do reception downtown. No perks except you don't really do anything and they let me surf the internet and do my homework and get paid. I guess it's good money for just doing your homework all day! hahaha |

Re: Where do you work?
I work for a company that specializes in converting and filing securities documents for public companies.. sounds boring because it is, lol. Won't interest anyone unless you're a securities investor maybe.
I earn a decent salary but unfortunately we don't get actual healthcare benefit packages because our company is so small. Instead we get hefty cash bonuses at the end of every month and after busy deadline periods. |

Re: Where do you work?
ooh, i haven't posted in a while....anyway....*jobless* - school took over my life.
i used to work at abercrombie and hollister. perks: abercrombie 30% off everything excluding sale items. each time they do floor sets (4x a year), we get to pick any pair of jeans (or whatever bottoms are on the dress forms) and 2 tops that are displayed on the forms for 50% off, that includes same colour. i felt it was really restricting but buying their jeans for 50% off is totally worth it! hollister is the same as abercrombie only it's 20% off because their merchandise is cheaper. |

Getting the job at RMCF was pretty easy especially since it was the beginning of summer and they were going to need extra/seasonal staff. They hire pretty much all the time and you pretty much don't need ANY experience; I had none at the time. You can probably take home candy/caramel apples every week if you apply and work there! =9 |
