Just wondering where everyone works and if you get any perks?

PNE (all year round) - cheaper admission/food, hear songs from concerts
Daycare - none really

perks: a get a discount on booze. there's no set percent of the discount...it varies from item to item...

and i get free hats, tshirts, cups/glasses from lotta beer companies (bud, canadian, kokanee, corona etc) and little samples of shots from hard liquor companies. i got a free churches chicken meal coupon once too lol.

I don't like/wear AE though...

at my stand we do get feel food for our credit (and at other stands if you know people). but during the fair you can get cheaper food at other stands.

I know lots of people who work at AE as well (or use to). If you don't like their clothing why do you work there? hah Anyways... are you allowed to wear other clothing w/o like logos showing or only AE stuff?

I work at definitions- not much of a discount tho...10%=/

well plain clothes, could be other brands but better if AE clothes. The reason why I chose it was because I was desperate for money during the summer, my first priority failed on me, bam, preppy AE. Not all of us like our jobs at first. Hours are crap.... but I don't mind since school's back in session. But yeah, dislike AE, quitting after the holidays.

I work at Blockbuster -__-' i swear i have to put up with some of the dumbest questions ever and put up with spoiled kids who like to cut lines...and the funniest of them all.. "I'm going to Rogers! They dont have late fees"
and with their no late fees policy..well the new one it sounds confusing. I had 2 ladies comment how stupid it was.. and in the end blockbuster is better. I dont know if they were saying it just because they were at blockbuster or they mean it as the truth

other than that... 10% of purchases except on hardware and 10 free rentals a week. We get new releases a week before it comes out.

yeah it's 50% off shoes and 30% off accessories. and the discount is available to you right when you start. unless they changed it in the last couple of years. haha i used to work there ages ago

i believe the limit is $1000 per month. i had a friend that worked there so it sucked cause you can't shop for your friends with the low limit.

i myself am self-employed. perks? i do what i want when i want.
