interview @ starbucks
hey you guys =)

i have an interview @ starbucks on sat. i was wondering~ do they have a human resources dpt? shouldn't my interview be @ their office instead of @ the starbucks location? ...i meann is there a table and chair their? @ the lougheed one... i haven't seen it unless it's way inside lol.

does this mean i'll have a 2nd interview b/c i have to meet w/ human resources dpt?

if you're applying for a store position (barista/ shift supervisor), then you will be interviewed by the manager of the store. it won't be in head office. if the starbucks location don't have chairs and tables, then the interview would be in a food court or something.

the second interview would be with another store manager in their store

it depends on how you do on your first interview. if you do well, you won't need a second one but that rarely rarely happens. we like having second interviews so that we are sure that you'll "fit" into any store not just the location you work at (in case you cover shifts or get transferred). the sooner you get a second interview, the better your chances are since the first manager already likes you and wants to hire you ASAP.

i doubt you'll get hired on the spot. again, getting hired after one interview rarely happens. references check also take a while
