want $10-$12 /hr cash -racetrack!
 for those who dont mind getting dirty and walking in dusty places and being around horses, hastings park is a good place to go ;) and see if any trainers need hotwalkers(people who walk the horses around for 15-20mins after thier workouts -on the ground lol no riding) 6am -12noon , its 10 -12 cash so no deductions ;) if ur ok for 7days a week u get about 900 every 2weeks for those interested *its a plus if u have experience with horses *dont mind waking up early! lol *just go one morning around 6 or 7am to the back gates and ask them to announce it over the loud speaker if any trainers are looking for hotwalkers **seasons just started so thiers gonna be alot of job openings! -season runs feb-nov |

Aw I would totally do this if I was still in school/didn't have a job already. I love horses!

some trainers need ppl on weekends to give thier regulars days off ;)
im starting this weekend ..hopefully lol next year i'll see if i can be a groom ;) 5:30am-2pm lol tack,feed,clean stalls for 6 horses and 3 grand a month ..xD lol 30grand for the whole season ..lol its not bad.. but even i need to brush up on wraps and polos |

I May Be interested, But do you think it would be okay a few times a week? I am in college right now only about about a month left of the semester. & I do have a job aswell. This job would be a morning job so that could work good.
I currently Have my own horse that I've owned for the past 9 years, So I do have experience with horses. I have always been curious to work at the track, so I thought I might give it a try because of my passion for horses. Although The horses I Have been around & worked with have all been good natured & calm. Whereas The horses at the Track I am assuming are quite more high spirited! Anyways, Do you think anyone is looking for someone may 3 Days per week? Pm me if you have any information to help! |

hm i don't really get how this works. so you just go in, and ask them to announce if they need any hotwalkers? or do you have to call someone before you show up? coz i haven't really been there before..

well u can call if u know the number of any trainers, if not just show up one morning, and ask them to announce it or just tell the ppl at the gate that ur thier to talk to some trainers about getting a job hotwalking ;)
