Viet Make-up

Hi girls,
just wondering how do you do the viet make up, i see a bunch of Viet girls with the same style of make up and i think they look hot!!

It looks like they are using a really really black eye shadow but can't really tell if it is an eyeshadow or what because it is as dark as markers!!

How do you do that, teach me :D and with what products

Viet makeup? never heard of it. is it the tonnes of makeup and fake eyelashes look as if you're going clubbing? post a pic if you have one. I'm a makeup artist, maybe i can help you =)

If it is smoky eyes then line the tops and bottom of your eyes with a pencil liner and smudge outwards. Get a dark colored eyeshadow and apply close to the lash line and blend outwards. Sounds simple but make sure to blend or you'll end up with amy winehouse looking eyes!!

it looks like smokey eyes but when i see it from near close, it;s real dark. The dark is not like wearing powder shadow cux i tried buying it but it doesnt give the same look. Let me see if there;s any pic in google x_X cux i dont want to take strangers pic, they're gonna think im kind of some creep lol

It could be a cream shadow but I wouldn't recommend using it becuase it would be waay to much for a daily look. (unless you plan to do a photoshoot or are going clubbing)

hm.. maybe it is.. well it looks like those girls are using markers cux it's so dark~ So basicly they only use eyeliner and run cream shadow on their eye? is there any video to show how they do this

hmm.. try youtube. But honestly.. I don't think it looks good. It looks like they don't really know how to apply makeup.

yeah, it covers one's really really ugly eyes lol.. cux this girl in my class, she uses that kind of make up everyday until we have midterm at 8am and maybe she doesnt have the time to do her regular make up and she looks like she's been dumped and cried for a month lol... *point, ugly, so ugly eyes and that make up style totally covers it! makes her looks so damn hot lol lol lol

yeah smoky eyes makes the illusion that u got bigger eyes cuz it adds depth for those who don't have the western style eyes.

LOL why is it called Viet make up? That's hilarious!

If you use a liner and line it really thick and then smudge, you can probably get the same effect. Fake eyelashes and/or black mascara too. I personally don't think this look is suitable for everyday wear because it just makes it look like you're trying too hard. Once in a while is okay though, but it's nice to change it up!

btw if u do this everyday to school, and then one day u dont do it, u'll feel like your eyes shrunk 10x. lol
