Hey has anyone done their own makeup for prom ?
I had a bad experience with ppl doing my makeup. My face was cakey and white. Shud i go with a more natural look for prom ? What kind of makeup should i buy? Any reccomendations of where's the best place to get my makeup done. I dont want my prom night to be a disaster ![]() |

Re: prom makeup
i did for my bf's grad! should've just done my own for my grad too.. .the guy screwed up! i say go natural-ish and false eyelashes. falsies always look nice, especially since it's obviously for a special occasion.

Re: prom makeup
I'm planning to do my own for prom. planning to do a black or brown smokey eyes.
IMO, I don't think you should go for a natural look. prom is a special occasion. maybe a light pink eyeshadow or something light if you don't want to look caked. here's a tutorial to achieve that natural look ![]() if you're planning to get it done, I would say makeup forever. it's located in sears at PC. i love their work. you just have to buy 3 products. any products but I think the cheapest would be eyelashes which is $14. soo... $42? here's a couple.. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() teheee... i love their eyelashes ![]() ![]() ![]() they're $14. |

Re: prom makeup
my sister did my makeup for the pictures, but i did my own on dinner/dance because she was working that day. false eyelashes does make a difference. jsut make sure you bring the extra glue and/or eyeliner. it was the first time i wore them to grad and my aunt put them in. halfway through dinner my firend was like, "omg michelle what is wrong with you eye" (she was seriously sincere and worried). my eyelash was falling off and i had to peel them off because i didn't have the glue and yeahh
