Greasy Eyelids
I've been having this issue all the time when i wear eye make up, either if it's eye shadows or eyeliner.... by mid-day half of it is gone, and my eyelids gets all greasy
is there a way of stopping this? i already don't put moisturizer near my eye area, and i use a make up primer.. i prefer pencil eyeliner because i like the more natural look... i've tried liquid eyeliner, it's not my thing.... does anyone have the same problem? |

Re: Greasy Eyelids
I don't have really greasy eyelids but you can try some of my own tips:
Use a good base for your eye shadows. UDPP is a must have for all make up lovers! It makes your eyes shadow stay on longer and not crease. I'm not sure how well they will work if you have really greasy eyelids though. Also, I dab a little bit of press powder on my eyelids before and after I put on eyeliner so that it doesn't smudge. For eye liner, try gel liner (eg. Mac Fluidline).. that stuff doesn't budge!

Re: Greasy Eyelids
maybe you should put translucent powder on your eyelids before applying makeup, and then setting your eyeliner with some eyeshadow or powder just to soak the oil, stopping your eyeliner from sliding off
also, have those oil blotting tissues by your side to keep the oil from spreading/ accumilating hope this helps :] |

i usually put concealer then press powder on my eyelids before i use liner and eye shadow. i would like to know what kind of base is good for the eyelid to make the shadow stand out more and stays longer... what's UDPP?

A personal tip for you is too not bother spending so much money on eyeliner pencils. I use $1.99 Bonne Belle Eye Definers (they stay on for me with a layer of translucent power underneath and goes on super smooth). I actually prefer that one over Mac.. plus I go through them so fast so it saves a lot of money. ![]()

Re: Greasy Eyelids
UDPP is Urban Decay Potion Primer (like mentioned above). Stock up on it when you go to the states! And if you cut open the tube when you think it's "empty," you'll find a lot more of the product still inside (the packaging is just crappy).

Re: Greasy Eyelids
thanks for all the suggestion
i'm gonna try putting on some powder method... i checked out the primer online at the sephora website, and it's not even expensive! $16 bucks! i'm totally willing to try it, since it has great reviews... |
