Re: Favourite brands

i like getting most of my makeup from mac. sleek black packaging, good quality products for reasonable prices, a lot of different colour selections and the back to mac program.

Re: Favourite brands

I've been on a huge Benefit kick lately.

Their super cute packaging is just a bonus!! But really, they have a lot of products that seem to be 'solutions' to problems such as under eye circles, or redness in skin.

I like MAC for their variety of eyeshadow colours but their concealer is really bad for clogging pores. I was told by some other makeup artists that it's because they were originally for theatre makeup.

Re: Favourite brands

Clinique...good products and really affordable (plus free gifts every so often)
no added fragrance. lots of oil-free options
their products mostly last you a very very long time.

I like to experiment with different brands but I found out that I buy from Clinique the most often (:

Re: Favourite brands

i like shu uemura foundation because it matches my skin tone perfectly

i like CARGO cause a lot of their products are dual purpose for me (i.e. powder and concealer), i love their eye shadow palette for everyday use, their bronzer is so so so good, gives you a natural glow

clinique eyeliner, kiss me mascara for eyes

laura mercier moisturizer with SPF cause its so light on your skin you barely feel it

i love mac too for random eyeshadow colors and stuff but i break out on their other products

Re: Favourite brands

i haven't found my favorite cosmetic brand yet. i usually have different stores for different products...

liquid eyeliner = loreal
foundation = currently mineral powder foundation, but it tends to change every few months...

i've tried clinique, makeup forever, chanel, etc... but still haven't found the same product that i have stuck with...

Re: Favourite brands

I'm addicted to everything Smashbox. I have just about everything. I like that's it different from other makeup brands that I have used. The primer is an everyday staple for me, the glosses don't stick and lately my fave product is the shadow eyeliner which is awesome. It looks like eyeshadow but it lines your eyes like a pencil would but its smoky.

Mac has really fun, sort of young stuff. It also goes on really nicely. But i also love anything from sephora, they have really interesting stuf on Sephora.com

what benefit products have you tried? i went into the counter today to get the erase paste cuz it sounds so neat and the girl there put on some foundation/powder things on my face to even out the skin tone/ eliminate shine and it seems to work pretty nicely. i'm thinking of getting that when i go in some other time to pick up the erase paste in my shade.

i love hearing about everyone's favourite make up brands :) i only use lip gloss/concealer, but it's good to know what's out there!

Re: Favourite brands

I like Chanel, Estee Lauder, Elizabeth Arden, Clinique and YSL.
I find Chanel's makeup stays on long. Estee Lauder's blush I have is AMAZING, the brush is made out of real rabbit fur (no they didnt kill them, i dont think) and it is sooooooooo soft totally worth the $65, and Elizabeth Arden always has nice eyeshadows if i ever wear it, and cliniques creams are always nice. YSLs makeup is so nice, you can tell its higher end just by the different colours of lipglosses etc they have.

Re: Favourite brands

Most of my makeup is from MAC even though a sales lady from there told me that their foundation isnt good. I only use their eyeshadows eyeliners and blush though. She told me that their foundation works for a while but then it tends to give people break outs. LOL i was supriesed that she told me but she said that she wanted to be honest.

Re: Favourite brands

MAC is hands down my favourite for lipglasses, eye shadows and base foundation. I also love Estee Lauder mascara but I think that I have developed an allergy since my eyes had becoming itchy when I used it. I also like Avon. Yes Avon, I was a rep for 5 yrs and although some of their stuff is not that great, they have created some better stuff over the years. I loved their eye makeup remover. Can be bought for $1 or so when they have a good deal. Bath oils and some other little things.
