Re: makeup- different seasons?

i am exactly like you, i try to change it but i can't do anything without looking too fake or too overdone. i only put on eye makeup most of the time and my eyes are weird (one is double eyelid and one is single) so theres not much i can do, i think. maybe you can add lip gloss or eye shadow? :)

Re: makeup- different seasons?

What about changing up the eye shadow colors, lip gloss and blush colors according to seasons? For example, during summer/spring, wear more warm and brighter colors like pinks and golds but do it light because nobody likes to cake their face in the hot summer weather. For winter, do the more sultry look, darker and cooler shades like blues and purples.

But of course, I usually pick my eye shadow colors according to my mood and what I'm wearing, never the season so it's really personal preference.

I find girls who pile bronzer onto their face everyday in the winter look ridiculous!! The bright orangey spot on the side of their face sometimes looks funny and it's too much.

Re: makeup- different seasons?

Bright colours are always in for spring!

juicylicious, you can use double eyelid tapes? ( I think that's what they're called) for one of your eyes if you want both eyes to have double lids.

I have never used it either, I have only seen and heard about them. There's a tape type and a glue type. Sounds weird? I agree. Alot of people with single eye lids use them in Asia, it's very common and popular there. You can probably search the product up on youtube for more information or tutorials.

try adding lipstick to your routine? rich red for fall, tawny pink for spring, and a slightly golden nude lipglosss for summer =]

Re: makeup- different seasons?

I use the eyelid tape sometimes when I go out because I have no lids either! It's so annoying though because eye shadows don't look go on smoothly over the tape. It just makes it really shiny which looks ok sometimes, but I'd rather just get surgery. LOL.
