so i'm not exactly 2 sure what short grad dresses should look like since they're traditionally long.
what do u think of this? is it too casual? note: this if for the grad dinner + dance ![]() Last edited by *pinkpeachz : 06-06-2008 at 10:02 PM. |

Re: short grad dress
get a short casual dress, don't be like the girls who spend 400+ on a dress and leaves it hanging in their closet. It's a shame to see them hang there =/
any ways short dresses are fine, i think it's better for girls who are short and have nice legs. |

Re: short grad dress
i'm not sure if the sale is still going on but most of the prom dresses were 50% off at bryan's bride at brentwood.
it's pretty cute. is it for prom or ceremony? i think it's good for ceremony but imo i think it's too plain and simple for prom. looks more like for a party or dinner. how about these ones? ![]() $110 (i have tried on this dress before and it's really cute) ![]() ![]() $110? (i tried dress on this dress as well and i think it's 50% off at byran's) it could be strapless or strap $220 $125 if you're short, it's best if you get short dresses because you're going to appear shorter and stubby in long or poofy + long dresses. but long tight gown could make you appear taller and sexier. |

Re: short grad dress
omg those dresses are soo adorable
i dont think that dress is too casual. but you do only graduate once, maybe you'd like to keep your options open to other dresses. but i am definitely wearing a short dress for grad :) you won't be the only one Last edited by M!SS.HOLLYWOOD : 05-31-2008 at 09:59 AM. |

Re: short grad dress
i think some of the dresses that were posted would look great for the pictures... the teal colour with i think pokadots and a bow on the bottom looks a bit too casual for me. but don't listen to me... i don't know what the trend is for grad now....

Re: short grad dress
aww i love that dress! at my prom, some people were casual and some were VERY dressed up so i don't think it matters. if u wear this and crazy do your hair, it'll be so cute! however.. i hate to say this but this dress or something very similar to it is quite popular.. it would suck to see someone else wear the same thing

Re: short grad dress
the dress is for prom. yeah i guess it is a bit 2 casual.... i just don't want to get something so uncasual that i would've ever wear it again. maybe i can dress it up with some nice accessories =S thanks guys! candy, i'm going to brentwood today, so i'll check out those cute dresses. thanks!
