If you know someone that works at Guess, they are also able to receive discount on Marciano items as well FYI

Question Toronto jobs

Does anyone know who is hiring in Toronto? I currently work in a fashion store, however I need more hours. I'm looking for something that pays a bit more than minimum wage... know of anything?

Re: Toronto jobs

Have you tried Craigslist?
I always have luck with finding jobs there.

Re: Toronto jobs

I think for most retail stores, you'll start out around minimum wage (but it's increasing to $8.75, I think...).

Try applying to be a teller at a bank. You don't need any experience and you can be as young as 16. I was talking to a teller at TD Bank and she told me she makes $15.00/hour. You'll probably start out at $10.00 to $12.00/hour.

If you don't mind busy work, you can always apply to be a waitress. Tips alone can be $5.00 + an hour. Moxie's is always hiring, as are most other restaurants.

Which area are you specifically located in Toronto? Downtown? Mississauga? Etobicoke? North York? Islington Town?

Re: Toronto jobs

^ A list of job opportunities @ the Eaton Centre downtown. Aritzia's hiring, Eddie Bauer's hiring, BCBG... The higher-end stores usually give you a better starting salary but they always start you off close to minimum....

Re: Toronto jobs

Thanks ! I'm in the Thornhill area, also willing to travel if it's not too far... since I work in a fashion store already, I'm not allowed to work for another under their policy unless I quit lol

Re: Toronto jobs

I've never heard of that policy but I guess it's reasonable. One of my friends worked at Footlocker and American Eagle at the same time.

I'm actually quite far from Thornhill... an hour or two drive... so I don't know if I would be of much help. If you have a ton of clothes you don't need, perhaps you could sell them online for extra money?

Edit: My friend's sister works at the library part-time. She makes a decent amount. I think over $10/hour.
