FOR ADOPTION: 1 year old cat!

Okay so my cat, Simba, is up for adoption. He's about a year old and he's veeeery beautiful. :) The reason is, we recently found out that I'm allergic to his hair so we're having to give him away. He's friendly, super energetic and playful. We really need him to go to a good home, so if you know anyone around you looking for a cat please give me their email!

And yes he's free!

Re: FOR ADOPTION: 1 year old cat!

miss.bee: its too bad you are allergic to simba! i'm actually very allergic to cats as well however, we got our cinnamon about 2 years ago, and although it was a bit tough with the symptons when we first got her, i'm perfectly fine with her as of current.

we tried a whole host of things including buying a air purifier with a hepa filter. also, people who are allergic to cats are actually allergic to the protein in the cat's saliva, which basically gets swept up into the air when they lick themselves, and that saliva dries. it helps to wope down your cat every so often with a wet towel to catch the dried saliva before it gets released into the air.

so there are a few things you can try if you want to keep simba in your home. good luck!

Thanks everyone! Emailed all.

Umm, he's really skinny and he's pretty tiny for his age imo.

I read somewhere that rabbits and indoor cats can get along if introduced properly (ie slowly - just like you would introduce any new animal to your cat). Outdoor cats, no - most would be hunters, and they would view the rabbit as food.

Re: FOR ADOPTION: 1 year old cat!

Well Simba's a sort of outdoor cat (he always wants to go out on our balcony, he loves being outside lol) so I wouldn't risk it.

Re: FOR ADOPTION: 1 year old cat!

outdoor cat meaning the house cat is let outside too.
indoor is when you don't let your cat venture outside the house

what you're refering to is wild cats vs domesticated cats ^^
