Fat People and tight clothes??

No offense...but what's up with fat people wearing clothes that don't fit them I see 180-pounders squeezing into a pair of Lululemon pants all the time, which btw is not sexy AT all. People usually buy trendy clothes to look good right? so if you're fat why would you spend the big bucks on clothes that make you look like a rice dumpling ("zhong")? They could buy clothes that flatter their body instead for example the poncho that Homer wore when he was SUPER fat

If i offended anyone on this forum please accept my apology, i just wanted to know why fat people where clothes that dont fit.

"fat people" sounds mean, but i know what you mean. they're wearing smaller sizes to make them feel smaller? iuno. but in their minds they feel sexy when you think they don't.

oh wow, is that what "zhong" means? i never knew. sometimes people can't find clothes of a particular style in their size.

yeah i agree. i guess this applies to every body whether you're large, or petite. tight clothes aren't flattering on n e one...just wear your proper size.

Yeah...come on, people. How hard is it to buy clothing in your own size? I don't see how people can do it...clothes that are two sizes too small seem so uncomfortable to wear!

I know it's mean but I guess it's true ._. , I especially hate it when girls wear really really tight jeans and a top that doesn't cover their love handles. no offense, but the muffin top seriously isn't a good sight -.- .. it's like they're showing it off or something.

I don't think anyone wants to admit they're fat. Which is why clothes which follow vanity sizing (marking clothes a size smaller than they actually are) sell better. Look at Aritzia - I don't find their sizes to be TTS. Even their XXS hoodies are too big on me.

If they like what they wear, then good for them. I don't think any of us has the right to criticize the way another person dresses just because skinny people tend to look better in outfits. Who says overweight people have to stick to wearing loose fitting clothes? I don't particularly like it when people purposely try to squeeze into a top that's too small for them, but if they feel that they look better in those than they do in unflattering styles of plus-size clothing, then that's their prerogative.

Chinese dumpling is uhh Gao Ji, i think what your looking for is Sticky rice wrap.Any ways it's really unappealing to see girls in high school wear tna outfits with their fat rolling out on the side >___< I mean if they buy a size smaller.. it makes them look a lil bigger.

Re: Fat People and tight clothes??

lol... Yesterday I saw a very oversized lady wear spandex pants. We were walking behind her, and with each step she took, you could literally see dimples and dimples of cellulite appear underneath the spandex. It was very unflattering. -_-

same,im like 5'5 and 130lbs.. i feel fat. haha. i wear like sze 7 jeans, and i vary in sizes for shirts. i could be a xs-l depends on the brand. but i hardly ever wear a large because it makes me feel like im fat. haha, but the other reason is that im more a med. i ask people if im fat,but then say "no,you;re not fat! now, stop asking." aaha ! i ask a lot. im that type of person that's fat,but can look skinny with clothes on. so,i guess it's okay? i still want to loose weight though

Re: Fat People and tight clothes??

i think they just do that to try to fit in (LOL, no pun intended). like there are so many trends nowadays and i dunno... maybe they are trying to flatter themselves? i dunno. it doesn't really bother me unless there's like patches of skin involved... just keep it covered and i won't complain.
