Karmaminus La Senza

This post is referring to the La Senza at metrotown (the one by bebe and american apparel not LA Senza Express or whatever).
I was there the other day and you know how they have those technolite bras on sale for 16.50? Well I was searching through their mess of the bins for my size and when i finally found it (im a 32 B which is pretty hard to find in sale bins) all the bras were TIED together by their tags.
It was insanely impossible to get through and I was swearing and bitching to my friend who was trying to help me about how stupid it was for them to tie all the bras together. Literally if you lifted one up all the bras came up too.
Anyway beside me there was a sales associate who was hanging things up and so i decided to see if she'd offer any help but she didnt. I thinks he even pretended not to hear me.
So finally after wrestling my size free (it was so hard!) i went to line up and there were four associates behind the counter but only TWO tills open and a huuuuge line. The girl behind me even commented on how SLOW their service was and we got into a conversation about how one of the other associates (one was putting tags on stuff, the other was writing on a paper behind the counter) could have opened a til.

Finally i reached the counter and the cashier didn't even greet me or tell me to have a nice day when I left. Basically she scanned my item, wrapped & bagged it then took my cash. The end.

Wow. All in all, their customer service sucks balls.

/end rant.

Re: La Senza

yeah that happens a lot at the metro ones. you should go to la senza express ones in the metro, it's usually not as busy and their stuff are still hung on the shelves so you don't have to go through the bins and the sales associates are really friendly and helpful

Re: La Senza

give them a break, there was probably a ton of people there and im sure they didnt purposely tie all the bras together, just people who were looking for their size were messing it up. Maybe they were shortstaffed since it was a big sale

i never said they tied it all together and yes tehre were a lot of people there but it wasnt incredibly packed, but for the amount of people there they could have at least opened some more tills. like i said there were two extra girls behind the counter, one putting tags on stuff and another writing on a paper. and as for the bras being tied together i never said they did it on purpose and even if it was customers messing it up they must have spent a lot of time tying all the tags together because it was the tags that were tied together not the bras and the girl beside me who was hanging stuff on a rack did not even offer to help me sort through it. unless she really didnt hear me but i was being pretty loud and fussy.

this isnt the first time i've had bad customer service from la senza. i have to agree with you jen69

maybe those two girls were new and dont have any experience with the tills. well.. I never had any experience at the metro location so I wouldn't know how their employees are. the richmond location seems pretty nice.

Re: La Senza

I go to the Metrotown La Sensa on a regular basis and I would say that about 80% of the employees stand there and do nothing. I have seen one person working behind the till while two others stand there and talk and completely ignore customers. And since I go their quite often, I know for fact that these are not just the new girls doing this. They are employees I've seen in there for months. Several times I have walked out w/out making a purchase that I intended on making because no one was willing to help me get my size (sometimes it's simply because it is too high up, but I will be staring my size in the face and just can't reach it.)

Re: La Senza

i went to metrotown la senza today..i bought 3 panties for $10 and this really pretty black bra with black/silver sequins for $8.50! however the cashiers were very unprofessional. just talking with their coworkers...and laughing and giggling and not even helping other customers in the store.

also when i paid for my stuff..the cashier didn't even say hi to me. i said hi first and then there was an awkward rude "hi...." after that.

the only good thing about la senza was..there were 2 girls working on the $16 bin bras..and they were trying to untangle the technolite bras

Re: La Senza

I can say that about the Pacific Center one too. I work in retail for a company that offers really good customer service and I dont realize how bad other places like that are til I shop there. If she had to be tagging the stuff do it in the back so you can be not interuppted. Otherwise, if there is a line up stop and help. I guess they pay bad so no one really cares one way or another.
I keep reading about how people cant find staff to work. Well, firstly try treating employees better and pay them better. I have been looking for a p/t job for so long and people pay really crappy yet expect so much experience or even a car. On $8 bucks a hour?

Re: La Senza

I also had a bad experience at la senza in the willowbrook location. I was going to buy some bras for my sister. I asked for one tax and the manager there who was serving me said ok. My cousin has the discount card, i forgot the name of the card, but it give you discount on bras and panties that your family memebers or friends can use also. so i told the manager there that my cousin got that card and she said i can't get the discount unless she is there. i was pissed off cause ive bought stuff from la senza in the metro location and got the discount without my cousin being there. they can just search for my cousin's address and name. i was a bit tempted to not buy it. my cousin also had a bad experience with the same person. maybe she's racist against asians... im not sure. so beware of that woman.

Re: La Senza

Yeah, I know what you mean Misora. I've tried to return a bra last week. The manager wouldn't let me because I got a bra club card stamp for it and she wanted me to purchase another bra in place for the same, just cause I didn't have the bra club card with me. In the end, I didn't find anything I liked. So, she made me come back the next day with my card. I'm pretty sure we are talking about the same person because it said La Senza Manager on her tag.
