Re: Fat People and tight clothes??

I agree, people have to stop wearing clothes that are wayy too small for them, but I understand the psychological effect of it.

LOLOLOL.

yeah i think larger people squeeze into smaller clothes either because they like the "fitted" look or... they want to think their a few sizes smaller
like when i can fit into size 24/25 jeans/ shorts or when a size small is loose/ big on me, i feel so happy

That's what my mom calls me when I wear TOO MUCH clothing in the winter... like I'm wrapped up in every way possible so I don't get cold.... like a zhong.

I've never heard of calling larger people zhong lol.

Re: Fat People and tight clothes??

it's really offensive that you post a number - numbers are so arbitrary. i'm 5'10 and an athlete (ie - i have MUSCLE, which weighs MUCH more than fat). i'm just over 180 unless i skip the gym for a few days... and i am by no means fat. my lululemon pants are usually size 8, etc. it's fine to talk about rolls of fat, but even people who weigh 120 can have rolls of fat - it just depends on body type.

So true. My gym-aholic aunt taught me that instead of weighing yourself, measure yourself with a tape-measure around your waist to see how much you've lost. Numbers are nothing!

It's disturbing, they probably think it's all about the comfort but honestly!

Re: Fat People and tight clothes??

I really don't think it matters what they wear. They are wearing those clothes to please themselves. If they wanna wear size S, then do it, if they wanna wear M or L then it is their choice. Just like people make their own choices to wear whatever shoes, hats, shirts, even how they do their hair. If i like it myself, then im gonna do it for myself, i won't care what other people think (i most likely don't know you and won't see you ever again anyways lol). That's just what I think about this. Oh and the pictures that Viv posted, i think the first 2 are okay because their girl parts aren't hanging out, and the 3rd picture yeah is a bit...over.....if she wants to show some skin sure why not, but don't wearing something that allows other people to basically almost see your girlie parts lol.

Re: Fat People and tight clothes??

As a larger girl I will say that I have been tempted to wear smaller sizes, however, I am very self-conscious of my body and definately would not wear anything that would make me look ridiculous. I would love to wear lots of the trendy outfits that smaller girls wear but I would look silly and I try to buy things that are pretty average since I dont want to be seen wearing something that may be out of style too fast. I find that there are alternatives to certain looks and nowadays you can find almost every type of clothing for sale in many different sizes.

I also think that someone people wear smaller clothes cause they dont mind what they look like and are not as self conscious as others peoples may be. What I think it comes down to loving your body no matter what size you are or at least being able to live with it or change it.
