Yeah, a whole chunk of the styles are the exact same. However, some of A&F's clothes are made in Hong Kong while Hollister clothes are not. Overall, both of them have most of their clothes made in Thailand and Vietnam, and the quality is basically the same.

BTW, they probably purposely make the clothes thin. Clothes made of thin material are lighter, fit nicer and are more flattering, I find.

I have a Hollister zip-up and I just checked and it`s made in the Phillipines...

Listen, I used to be a manager for Abercrombie Kids (which is the same company as A&F and Hollister and all have the same policies) You can totally return that coat if you're not happy. That shouldn't happen, especially since Hollister and A&F love to discuss how high quality their stuff is (which is b.s). Take the coat back with your receipt if you still have it. Be nice and let them know the issue with the coat and how disappointed you are. If they do not want to take it back (which is rare) ask for a manager and stand your ground. They should take it back. Without a receipt they will give you store credit. If not make them give you the corporate complaint line and make a big stink out of it. They will help you out. Good luck
