Re: Do your parents let you wear what you want to wear?

My mom only complains when I where too much makeup or when I wear makeup to school . "School is a place to study, there`s no need to wear makeup." She`s also somewhat strict when I wear skirts or short shorts in public but it`s all good, I love her anyways . : )

Yeah, my mum is always like,' Pull up your shirt!' but other than that, no, not really.

Re: Do your parents let you wear what you want to wear?

Naww. My girlfriend was the one who said "omg your dress is so short"

When my dad saw me, he just asked if it was new since I had been shopping the day before and I told him I got it for $15 and he said, "good job!" hahah

Re: Do your parents let you wear what you want to wear?

My mom doesn't really mind anything I wear as long as my boobs aren't hanging out or anything. xD She's way more laid back compared to my dad - especially about makeup and nails. Gah. But, he's kind of mellowed out now since I think he prolly just gave up. lol.

Re: Do your parents let you wear what you want to wear?

My mom knows every piece of clothing in my wardrobe.

She...
- doesn't like me wearing new clothes to school within the week of getting them. She gets mad at me and tells to stop 'showing off' and 'trying to attract boys'. -groan- xD She always does this! Even if it's something that she buys for me herself! (Unless it's a thick winter jacket that I really needed. )
- has never let me buy a white shirt while shopping with her - mom thinks I'm way too clumsy and that I can't take care of it. All in all, it will be unfavourable when it comes to her cleaning it. I told her I'd wash my own clothes, and then she gets mad because she thinks I'm insincere about it. I'm planning to go buy myself a white hoody one of these days. I really like white shirts. xD
- hates me wearing long ribbed tank tops. Yeh- the ones that you see EVERYWHERE now. They're too low, apparently. So I always have to cover up/wear a scarf. (But what if it's really really hot? D: )
- doesn't like me taking the time to layer my clothes in the morning. "I don't want to wash 3 shirts. Just pull on a thicker t-shirt. " ...but moooom! XD Oh well. Nothing can stop me >: )
- critisizes any expensive/ branded clothes I buy. Her: -feels inside of sleeve- Ha. Expect to wear this no more than 3 times.

Re: Do your parents let you wear what you want to wear?

my parents let me wear whatever i want, and i do wear whatever i want

but my mom does always point out my butt and state that it didnt come from her or dad
its prob cuz i always sit on a chair in front of the comp
but she does say that i have nice arms when i wear sleeveless shirts

i have really curvy legs so it looks really weird in short shorts and skirts, but good in jeans =\

Re: Do your parents let you wear what you want to wear?

My mom has a big problem with cleavage revealing tops because she thinks this world is full of horny old men .. ha-ha -_-... and other than that she has a pretty good sense of fashion so we're always asking for each other's opinions on outfits and stuff.

But yeah... My mom hasn't cared since i was 10 so =) but i dress appropriately because i think it just makes you look bad if you dress like trashy...
