Some parents don't care, some do, some parents will let their children dress too provocative. Then wonder why their child is pregnant at a young age. Some are completely stricked.
Do your parents let you wear what you want to wear? What do you wish your parents allowed you to wear? ![]() Mine are a little bit over protective and stricked, they don't allow me to wear certain things, but I still wear them anyways, in the suitable places, of course. I wish my parents would not get so worried about me wearing tight clothes, and things that reveal/accent my body. They say they worry too much about me getting in trouble with nasty people. And I completely understand, but I always go out with people, and I'm never out after 11. ![]() Lets hear from you! ![]() Last edited by vodkaflavoredlips : 06-25-2008 at 07:03 PM. |

^ you seem like a really good kid =] my parents r the same as yours, i can't wear too provocative things, i can't even wear all black b/c my parents r afraid ( if i'm out @ night ) the drivers won't be able to see me and yeah....
can't wear all white either because traditional chinese ppl wear all white to funerals can't even wear clothes with skulls on them.... not that i'd want to n e ways i'm not bothered by this though, i'm sure after highschool they'll give me more freedom and options

Re: Do your parents let you wear what you want to wear?
If theres was wind outside my mom would make me wear a jacket but its not about my clothes, its about my makeup, i don't put much on but sometimes I wear some lip gloss and my dad would tease me about it saying stuff like, "why is there shiny stuff on your lips." and when i wear mascara he would be like, "whats wrong with your eye lashes why are they so.. curly?" i dont mind though because he never tells me to take it off or anything.

Re: Do your parents let you wear what you want to wear?
lol my parents never gave a care wut i wore. but i dress appropriatly tho.
i jus won't wear my bikini infront my family...i won't wear my name brand bags around my relatives...like aunts/uncles...cuz they r pretty annoying about luxury fashion (because they like their 80s/outdated clothes). i won't wear low cut tops when i go to my grandma's house/dine out with my relatives. |

Re: Do your parents let you wear what you want to wear?
my parents don't care what i wear, but i don't dress bad either.
i don't mind wearing a bikini around my family (ie. when we go to whistler in the summer) and it really doesn't matter what I wear. i also think i dress the way i dress because of my profession.... |

Re: Do your parents let you wear what you want to wear?
I know my mom cares about what i wear but she doesnt really say anything which kinda makes me sad cause i actually wanna hear her say something. It's not that i wear really revealing clothes, cause i dont do that anyways and i dont want to. It's actually with heels. She thinks im too young, so i dont wear it that often. And the one thing she ALWAYS nags me on is being warm enough outside. Before i leave the house shes always telling me to bring an extra sweater just in case. Even its its like 20 degrees out. LOL i love her! My mom makes me laugh all the time.

Re: Do your parents let you wear what you want to wear?
My parents don't say much... because I don't wear revealing clothes anyway.
The only thing that openly express their dislike about are short shorts. Even though they're the ones that aren't showing a lot. -- I wouldn't wear the ones that are showing a lot anyways. Capris are a no-no for me on hot days. I normally dislike capris, though there are always exceptions. *sigh |

my family cares quite abit but at times it's alright with the short shorts and the short skirts...it's the low tops that get them, so i dont wear a lot of those useless i got a tank inside lolz

Re: Do your parents let you wear what you want to wear?
My parents don't really mind what I wear, and I don't take advantage of that. It doesn't matter much to me anyways, because I know my limits. I don't wear anything provocative and I rarely wear all black.

Re: Do your parents let you wear what you want to wear?
My parents don't like my wearing bikinis..thats pretty much it. my sister on the other hand is hyper-criticial (sp?) she criticizes em when i wear dresses above my knee-.-: 2" above the knee is not short! when i asked my mom she said it looks good. I dont wear anything that makes me look slutty or anything.
