Okay ladies, just thought I'd throw a question out there for you all and see what responses i get :)

Who do you dress to impress? Guys or Gals?
I'm asking this b/c (correct me if I'm wrong) most guys don't look or even notice the brands on your clothing. A logo won't catch a guys attention, its the way the clothing looks on you - your body that they notice. They probably don't even know what some of the brands are that we are wearing (ha). So you would think its the guys we want to look good for right? but when we wear these brands, keeping what i had just said in mind, who is it that we dress for? If its not the guys b/c logos aren't what they look at.. then are we just trying to show it off to girls? sounds funny hey

i want to look good for guys so i wear clothes that are cut well, fit and flattering. but i gotta admit...i dress to impress girls

I dress to impress girls =) And I check out girls as well. I don't check out guys unless they're like right up in my face blocking my view. But I like to look at girls, just to see what they're wearing and be like "Oooh, that's hot, I love her jeans" or "Eww, wtf is she wearing?" It's fun! =D

I dress for myself most of all, but I also dress for my boyfriend. I like to wear figure flattering clothing that make me look good. I could care less about brand names, but I will buy them for added comfort and quality. I hate label whoring (like PLASTERING your stuff with a brand name). It looks stupid and elitist.

I like to dress in a way that I look good to both sexes. The cut, colour, & trend of a clothing is really important to me. I usually buy my clothes based on those 3 criteria.

As for guys not noticing brands/logos....I find that if the guy has the same taste in brands, that can be unisex, as you ...i.e Rock & Republic, True Religion, Ed Hardy etc etc etc...he will definately spot u outta the crowd and perhaps think to himself " damn, that girl has the same awesome style as me"

I find that some guys don't like leggins on girls. My bf hates leggings and thinks they are ugly lol. but i think girls would think they look good on girls.

i dress for both. ;) i want people looking at me to think "oh, she's got good taste" heh. and i agree with mArie, i LOVE looking at other girl's outfits. sometimes its the only reason i go to mall :D

I dress to impress girls lmao. Ideally, the guys that I'd want to attract wouldn't completely judge based on looks.

I dress mostly to impress... girls, 'cause I've attracted one too many creepers over the years.

now that i think about it.. i mostly dress for myself. some of the stuff i wear is pretty weird. hahaha

and trust me, when i see a guy wearing rocks or TR's i comment on them and it's usually a good conversation starter.

i dress to impress girls, its not like guys really care about what your wearing. lol

same same. they never give you compliments much either.. dressing to impress girls sound awkward though (in my opinion)

the guys i hang out around actually knows every brand out there. when i buy a new jacket, lets say juicy. 2 of my guy friends would ask me "is that juicy, it looks nice" haahha. anyways, i dont know who i dress to impress. would i be telling the truth if i said i dress nice because it makes me feel good about myself and i'm not trying to impress anyone? haha ..
