creative ideas for lab

so for chemistry we are doing this forensics lab (its called a csi lab ) and my teacher wants it to be written in role. So as a forensics lab person writing a lab NOT a formal lab (ie. procedure, hypothesis etc.)

so i was wondering if you guys had any creative ideas i could use for the presentation of the lab.

some exaples are:
- putting it in a file folder labeled confidential
- doing a whole legally blonde things w/ pink folder, scented pink paper

^^ i don't want to do those ideas though because practically everyone in my class is doing those

any help is greatly appreciated :)

Re: creative ideas for lab

lol. i dun really get it.......so there's no real science to it?
jus make up a nice story for a csi person?

well........when i clicked on the title i thought it was to give u an idea wut to do for your own lab.. anyways...my idea was...u know in maury episodes (you are not the father etc) or in those crime scenes (where u have to predict who was the killer or rapist).........how about u be one of those ppl who decide who is the killer, father, rapist.

i was originally gonna tell u to do a gel electrophoreis experiment - a way those ppl actually tell who's the father/killer etc.......but since this sound like highschool....i dun think u have the capacity to do such a thing.......

i guess u can fake being one of those scientist who do the gel electrophoresis, analysis etc...for the csi forensic unit and report who is the killer...make sure u wear a lab coat! looks cooler

Re: creative ideas for lab

You could take pictures of things as evidence. You could have evidence labelled in baggies (actual objects). You could present part of it on audio tape....like the observations part. Maybe submit a written transcript of the observations too though.

YOU SHOULD PUT A COFFEE RING ON THE FRONT OF YOUR FOLDER. <---I think that would be hilarious! I'm sure that happens sometimes.

Oh jeez. I miss creative projects.
