last homework help -_-'
i feel bad always asking help for my homework since it's something I'M suppose to do but i've been sitting here for the past 3 hours (literally) with a blank paper.
I have to draw a political cartoon on: RCMP wanted to investigate finance department because they think someone leaked out the information that the government decided to collect less taxes on dividends and not increase taxes for trusts. it was leaked out to some people too early since everyone was suppose to know a same time. so some people had a head start. http://www.cbc.ca/canada/story/2005/12/28/incometrusts051228.html so anyone have any ideas on a political cartoon i can draw for this article? any ideas appreciated. =D |

Re: last homework help -_-'
There are many ideas you can use. Here are couple ones I just come up with...
1.) Theme: Finance Minister is the scapegoat of this incident. Draw a RCMP person holding a club with his right hand, and picking up a small person (Goodale) in a threatening pose, saying "You're gonna cover it up for us". In the background, draw caricatures of a group of political leaders (must include Harper of course), surrounding huge sums of cash. 2.) Theme: Criticizing Finance Minister's refusal of resignation on the incompetency of Finance Department. Draw a serious looking Goodale announcing "our department is alright" to a group of medias. In the background, draw a group of people messing around, and label them "Finance Department". |

OMG What a boring subject to make a cartoon out of, especially since political cartoons are suppose to be of a satiric (ie ironic and funny) nature. I feel bad for you. I would be just as blank.

Re: last homework help -_-'
I would draw a table with mountains of documents on one side (labeled "Finance portfolio"), and one the other side, draw 3-4 dressed up men with wine glass in hand (labeled "Department of Finance"). They don't have to be "symbolized", a label would work just fine.
