i'm not a big fan of coach but i don't find gucci to be that bad. I agree that LV lost its appeal with all the fakes however the latest line is GORBEOUS imo.

i personally do believe chanel is timeless, the whole brand has a sense of sophistication in my opinion but these teeny-boppers are trying to be mature and they are ruining the wole timeless and classic appeal

as for LV I like it because its just classic
same reason as Coach - i can wear it with anything jeans or what not.

but its WAYYYY to expensive for me

I know most people are ranting how they hate brands and what not.
but I guess as you get older. you would want A (or 10) brand name bag just because -
and if you don't then..... you probably can't afford it.

and I personally think its wrong to say you hate something
if you don't even have the option of buying it.
it'd be like me saying... oh I'd hate to buy a jet plane because blah ---

what i mean is.... well I know I'LL have biased views for the jet plane...
since I don't have the money for it.
but when i ACTUALLY DO have the money to buy a jet plane
maybe my views will be different

and please don't take anything I'm saying offensive. its just my personally opinion

it's a good point that it's not really fair to say you don't like something when you don't even have the option of buying it. i think the dislike would stem partly from envy/jealousy?

those bags aren't out of my budget, but they simply don't appeal to me.

I think that no matter what brand it is, the designer will have hit or miss items. I adore Marc Jacobs but sometimes I want to ask him what the hell he was thinking.

yeah! same here i think that lv bags and coach bags dont all look that nice :| and gucci ones too. they have some that look really cool. but personally i think most of the bags made by those brands are too mature for me anyways :P haha

Coach is a good starter brand. They have some cute stuff...but now, as I grow up, I don't find it that cute anymore. I used to like their signature stuff when I was a teenager but now in my early 20s....I like their leather items more...but their leather items r still pretty expensive or on par with a monogram LV speedy...and it seems like a better deal to get a monogram LV speedy vs an expensive Coach all leather purse.

So naturally your tastes upgrade.

I've sold most of my Coach items to fund my LV addiction. But i've kept a limited baby blue Coach swingpack and a cotton beige signature hobo purse. cuz they don't scream Coach and they r great pieces to have.

I have to agree with you on that.. hating IF you can't afford it but you can't say it's always from jealousy because some of the stuff isn't the best looking anyway. For example, I've never like the LV monogram bags when I couldn't afford it, but now that I can, I would still NEVER buy one.

I would buy still give myself the option of being LV bags though if I really wanted one (only if they don't have their logo ALL over it).

Yeah I agree with you xoxo.juicy.
I never use to find Coach appealing at all. I use to think spending hundred(s) on a purse was ridiculous! Now that I think of it, after I started making my own money, things kinda changed.
However I don't like and don't think I'll ever like or buy LV, Chanel, Gucci or any of those higher-end brands(I like Marc Jacobs though but don't own any of his handbags).

I agree entirely with you kayyle, its kind of ridiculous to spend a mass amount of money on a bag that well isn't going to last you forever and even if it does it'll be out of style and you'lll look ridiculous either way.
And besides there are way to many monogram printed bags out there whether they be real or fake. I was at the mall the other day and I saw to separate vendors carrying bags that looked exactly like coach bags for 10 - 15 dollars a piece... the most expensive one I saw was 30 and that was because it had coached embossed on a leather piece that had been sewn on the inside of the bag.
It's almost like wearing a black t-shirt with a HUGE rhinestone brand name written right across it.
It gets old.

I have a coach mini handbag before everyone had it. Now I'm not using it much anymore. But I did keep the wallet cuz I love it so much lolz no harm there if no one sees it till I take it out

LV is oki to a point if ur at the right age. Teens? No. Lolz
Gucci is a no if you get their huge bags but there's a lot of fakes just like LV
Chanel is great if you've seen some of their new bags. I think people had just been seeing the fakes too much.
There's also all the fake Juicy Couture out there. Sigh.
Hmm Burberry is only good if your older when you have kids and all lolz
Chloe and Marc Jacob is pretty good but I've limited myself one of each lmao

IMO coach had list their touch. Maybe thats why I switched over to Prada. Check out the Miu Miu line. Its not that bad =]

Haha thats funny, you know what though... you stilll see those teenagers walking around with those super lame knock offs that don't even have the LV's on it.
It has random shapes, that sometimes aren't even close to the real shape.
But I think the best ones are the ones that go in the wrong direction.
Those have got to be the funniest ones.

i despise knock offs with a passion. it looks ridiculous wearing a knock off, especially if it doesn't match the rest of your look (which is sometimes the case if you can't afford the real thing, but go for a fake). no offense to anybody, but i really hate knock offs.
