we're having a highschool dance;
and i have no idea wat to wear. any suggestions?
i dont really want to wear a dress/ skirt tho. ideas

tanktop + shorts?

nothing that provokative since yur in highschool...why don't u just wear heels...bermuda shorts with a nice tank top?....then again....i think when i was in highschool i just wore jeans and a tank top with runners LOL. gosh...i dunno the attire for highschool dances anymore.

haha nooo don't wear heels to a dance! save that for clubbing. it looks silly (trust me, i've seen gr8 girls wear heels to SCHOOL and it just looks tryhard). but i'm with juicybrat on this one. but don't be a huge slut. that just says TRYHARD or GRADE 8 all over you. hahaha been there, done that. i just graduated so tanktop + shorts, or tanktop + jeans. footwear? i usually sport the flipflops or flats. have fun!

i agree with both juicybrat & xxkinky...last time i went, i just wore jeans, and pretty normal clothing. Never over dress...a lot of people wear normal clothing unless your a grad; then you might want to wear a simple dress if your friends are goign to too, since its your last year.If its sunny that day; wear flipflops/ mini heels and if its raining i woudl say wear ballet flats. As for the clothing; i don't have much to add to juicybrat & xxkinky's list except for maybe a cute skirt?

oh yeah!!!......i jus rememebred....that i never wore heels to a school dance before =P u guys are lucky..i think 3-4 years ago....cute flats never came out yet =\ but yeah! flip flips is good! i think it's best to wear a sleeveless top and something thats somewhat short on the bottom...cuz the room gets hot and you'll be sweaty.

I say a nice tank top, ballet flats and maybe some gauchos. Gauchos aren't too long so it won't get too hot and they are flowy like a skirt so it will look great when your dancing. Shorts or Capris would also work, but I personally think Jeans would be too hot if you plan on dancing a lot (you'll get sweaty, then the jeans will stick to you).

hey um i have a question.. im having my grade 7 graduation (yeah im 13-.-) and im wearing a dress that the neck line is way lower than i usually wear... should i still wear it??

you dont want to look trashy, so if the neckline is too low, dont wear it

i think 13 is too young to be wearing extremely low necklines......i'm not sure wuts the average age for development .....but yeah..it'll look very trashy on a 13 year old

no, no, and NO!!! do NOT, i repeat, do NOT wear something that will make you look older, especially when you're only 13. it makes you look like an idiot and a laughing stalk for older audiences like moi. just wear a simple floral dress or a nice tank, skirt, and a shrug. don't be looking too tryhard. act and dress your age. you have plenty of time to wear plunging necklines when you're older.

haha thanks for the suggestions .. at the dance i wore uhm.. like a half jacket or something on top XD uhh cause theres this guy that really really likes me and is a perv so i didnt wear just the dress alone xD
