coach sideswing bags

what do you think of the coach swing bags? the closest thing ive ever worn that would resemble that would be the coach hipbags. but iuno, im not a fan of the swing bags, and ive seen them on a lot of ppl that doesn't look good on them either, but i saw a really nice one that i wanted to get. but if i know i get it, ill have no idea what to wear with it and i know it'll look bad. but what would you usually wear with the swing bags?

Re: coach sideswing bags

hey i have a baby blue/white limited eddition coach swingpack. i think it was bought in feb 2006. i usually wear that bag when i wear scrub clothes like tna pants, zip ups..like sporty wear...i usually use the coach skinny as a wallet when i wear that bag since i have a pet peeve of people cramming so much stuff in the bag to make it look chubby and ugly. and i just put the essentials in the bag. i think the bag is really cute. i dunno if i'd wear the coach hipbag..kinda reminds me of the gucci hipbags..and that reminds me of highschool.

Re: coach sideswing bags

^ i sold my hipbag lol. i think it got played out, a lonnggg time ago. i kinda miss them though, i think the old rectangluar ones are nicer than the 2 pocket ones now.

but arghh, i noticed how the swing bags seem really thin? if you put a lot in, it seems like it'll look chunky and gross. i dont know if i should get one or not, is it inconvinient like you know how its long and kinda long you could say, is it inconvinient if you have small things that are in the very bottom?

Re: coach sideswing bags

damnnn. how much do you think the right price is to resell?
because im planning on getting one, it has the big C's on it, and on the other side, theres like 3 stripes, its kinda like the cheetah style, but no pokadots, gahh iuno i cant explain it. we'll just say theres like 3 shades of brown stripes in the middle going down vertically.

and im thinking about getting it, but if i dont like it and its too late to return, or if i used it only a couple of times, what do you think the price is ok to sell at? cause i just think its really nice, but not sure if it'll really suit me or not if i wear it a couple of times after

Re: coach sideswing bags

Coach's swing packs are useful if you carry small / little items with you, cause it really doesn't have that much space where you can just put a lot of stuff in.

However Coach does also carry the "duffle" bag where it's a bit bigger so you can place a lot more items into that one, compared to the swingpack.

The swingpack looks good if you wear something casual (not too dressy). There's the new signature stripe swingpacks that are really cute.

You should go to one of the Coach stores and try them on, and you can bring some of your items in & see how much it holds.

They cost from $140, $150 & $180.
