Re: Gel Eyeliner?

I've used the stila smudge pots....
i personally thought they were just okay...
You have to buy a slant tip brush to apply the liner.
I bought mine in the states at Sephora.

Re: Gel Eyeliner?

Yes the MAC fluid line is really good. Does not budge at all. If you work fast you can smudge and when it dries it'll stay the whole day. I've bought the Bobbi Brown one but the MAC fluidline is cheaper.

Re: Gel Eyeliner?

I have oily eyelids. The MAC fluidline will NOT last the whole day (even half a day) with me. I end up with raccoon eyes. I found the Bobbi Brown one longer lasting, but I still wasn't satisfied...especially considering how much it costs. I have the Clinque one, but I haven't tested it out yet.

If you want the Stila smudgepots, you can buy them online from Sephora. I recommend you going to MAC and a Bobbi Brown counter to try out their gel liners too.

Re: Gel Eyeliner?

Sure I can. It may be a while from now though. I don't wear makeup often, and with it being midterm season, I don't even bother putting in my contacts let alone putting on makeup. -_-'

If you want to read reviews and results of the different kinds of gel eyeliners out there, check out . All 4 (Stila, Mac, Clinique, and Bobbi Brown) of the ones mentioned in this thread have pages and pages and pages of reviews.

Still, I don't suggest you get anything based on reviews if you can test it out yourself. Who better to review the quality of eyeliners for you other than you? When I go to makeup counters and tell the MAs that I'd like to wear the makeup for a day to see how it stays on and how my skin reacts to it, they're all very polite and accommodating. At first, I was hesitant to do this because I thought they'd be snubbed if I made it clear that I wasn't interested in buying at the moment - only trying. This was never the case.

Another thing...if you have oily eyelids, it will be a pain in the butt to find eyeliner that stays on the whole day. Most makeup is oil soluable (that's why baby oil, olive oil, and vasaline are such great makeup removers). So, really, no matter what you use, your eyeliner will probably run/smudge a little. If you're really intent on not letting this happen, you'll have to dab on translucent powder to absorb the oil every so often.

Re: Gel Eyeliner?

just saw at CVS (a store in the US, but like a london drugs in canada) that has Loreal H.I.P. pot eyeliners. they only have a few fluidline type eyeliners. and they're only $10. colours are black, brown, blue, green and purple.
