how should i style my hair??

ok so i have long layers ..and naturally wavy kind of...usually goes straight if i blow dry completley.. the shortes layer goes right to my jaw line and the longest is almost to my bra strap (so medium length) a couple more inches and its long..
and well :s ive tired pretty much every product i can think of..to get the oh so wanted by many twilight fans.. kristen stewart look of textured layers with volume and i know its not something hard to do ..but ;s could it be becuase my hair is too thick??and i should get it thinned out?... any advice would be great like for products or a hair salon..anything..cuz im getting bored of my hair ..its just soo :S blaa.. but i love my layers ..help pleaseee :tongue:

or uhmm.. can someone tell me if thinning my hair will give my more volume on top , since too me it looks like its just getting dragged down.. ..

if you have short layers on the top, that'll give you volume.
but if the layers on top are too short .. its kinda bad cause like when you sleep and then wake up the volume is crazzzy and it wont go back down =( i learned from experience LOL.
try asking for short choppy layers but have the shortest layer go to your ears or wherever you want it to go to

^ Yea shorter layers on top gives more volume. If you want to thin it out, do it only on the bottom layers.

^ thats what i meant to say. that i wanted to maybe thin about the bottom layers..cuz i dont really want shorter ones done on top, xD thanks
