I was in the program for the first sem. but it wasn't "for me" (forced to enter by my parents) so I switched to Business. First term is a breeze IF you don't have any other classes to take other than nursing ones. If you haven't taken english or bio beforehand you might have a hard time cuz you have to take them along with the nursing classes.
You get to "work" in a nursing home in second term. Your profs will ask everyone to pick the top 3 places they wanna be placed in (each term), but I remember that you can only "work" (clinical experience) in each hospital once. So if you live near a certain hospital I suggest saving that one for a harder term later on in the program. Oh and btw, for second term and onward, you get placed at different hospitals BUT you still pretty much have to be there at 6:30-6:45 AM everytime you have clinical.
A lot of my friends are in the program and trust me you REALLY have to like the program and be really determined to finish or else you'll get burned out and tired of it all by the end of the program's first year. I know a lot of people who drop out or can't keep up with the program... but mostly cuz it's not really wut they want as their career.
Oh and the profs are really nice so if you have questions like in class, make sure you ask them!! A lot of them are kinda vague about wut they want....
Good luck!
