Anime Revolution 2012

    Hey guys!
    Unfortunately, there used to be a consistent anime convention (Anime Evolution) in Vancouver that fell and didn't make it. Well, for all you people who like anime (like Sailor Moon or Hello Kitty) and cosplay, there's going to be a brand new convention in town called Anime Revolution, and it's going to be taking place at the Vancouver Convention Exhibition Centre on August 17 - 19, 2012!

    They're still planning ticket prices but I hope t'll be released soon. I got my fingers crossed!

    There was a convention at UBC this year, forgot what it's called.
    Same "pricks" that ran AE?

    *and i say it in quotes because I never attended. I was rather put off by the people volunteering and their attitudes towards me when I said 'I didn't attend/don't cosplay.

    Oh yeah that's Cos & Effect~ Anime Revolution is a completely separate team that has no relation whatsoever to AE or Cos & Effect!

    I don't know about Anime Evolution but I didn't like Cos & Effect all that much.. anyway, I hope everyone will be coming to this new con =D

    They are currently taking pre-registeration and the price for 3 day general pass is $50 until March 31st, if you are going you might want to get it now before price goes up! At door price is $75

    Guests include Sarah Edmondson and Sugar Lyn Beard, Irulanne, Mark Nguyen, Fighting Dreamers Productions, Jessica Nigri, Doug Walker (aka The Nostalgia Critic) and Noah Antwiler (aka Spoony).

    We have more confirmed guests for AR2012! they are: Sam Logan, Katie Griffin, Lee Tockar and Susan Roman!! some of these names should sound familiar to those of you who watch dubbed Sailer Moon ;)
