Just got a digital perm at Chura and loved it!!

I think i'm going to perm my hair forever from now on lol... waaaay better than my boring old stick-straight hair.

Hey, do you mind explaining what they did? Thanks, I've debating on getting a perm for loose curls but wasn't really sure how the process went and how long it takes?

Basically digital perms work by using a solution to chemically break the bonds in your hair molecules, then put on rollers and apply heat through electricity that make your hair molecules re-align into curls, then apply another solution to re-bond the molecules. After the stylist took out the curls i looked crazy with massive afro hair lol, but he smoothed the curls out with a cream solution, wait a bit, then wash out. It took about 2.5-3 hours but they supply you with lots of mags to read so it wasn't too bad.

Hmm, i've been parting my bangs on the side for years and years now, i blow dry them with a round brush every time i wash my hair. But this time the stylist cold-permed them with solution to make them more curved and easier to style. If your hair naturally parts in the middle you have to train them to part the way you want, maybe clip them to the side with bobby pin 24/7 and eventually it'll part the way you want.
