What is your definition of 'Partying'

I don't enjoy clubbing. IMO its a big waste of money. there are so many other ways of having fun.

i dont really know how i would define it. but the girl i asked today defined it as a group of ppl (min. 10) getting together and drinking. her reason for why she likes partying is that drinking helps her be nicer and open up to others (its really a "why i enjoy drinking" lol).

Well when I was a young'n, I remember getting bags filled with candy treats, stickers, pencils, toys and all that happy stuff!:D

Now that I'm 19 and If I were to give out goodie bags; I would fill them with nail polishes, movie tickets, scented hand sanitizer, and maybe a few good gift cards? I'm not too sure haha.

I like partying better (ex. house party). You can drink whatever you want for cheaper and you can actually hear what your friends are saying lol

To me, clubbing = overpriced drinks & covers, scantilly clad LGs, douchey guys, and dirty/perverted old men.

since i turned 19 in may, i haven't gone clubbing... a big part of that is also due to the fact that a lot of my friends are younger than me and still underage + not the clubbing type. i think if i was into clubbing, i would have gone already. partying is better because you can do anything + cheaper + food

haha, once I went to a Christmas party hosted at my mom's work. every kid got a bag with santa/snowman printed notepad, pencil, chocolate, stickers and mini toy... I got one too :D

I don't think any adult parties give out goodie bags, but it's good to prepare a little gift for guests at weddings or bigger get togethers. :3

and the "parties" I like going to are
[Christmas party] : potluck, secret santa, some music in the background, chatting
[volunteer appreciation party] : good spirit, prizes : D

I don't like clubbing but I don't mind house parties. I prefer smaller crowds and knowing some familiar faces when I socialize.

I love goodie bags too! XD Yesterday I just went to my cousin's daughter's birthday party and got myself a goodie bag.. lol.

I probably prefer house parties more, just because it's easier to meet/greet and to hold conversations. The whole screaming into ones ear seems stupid.

Although I do enjoy clubbing when it's not in Vancouver. People seems to be friendlier in other places maybe?

I enjoy clubbing more than I do partying at private social events. With clubbing, you have more opportunities to meet new people, different social circles, and you have more opportunities to do spontaneous things with random people than with people at a private social event. With house events and such there is always a huge mess and you have to help clean it up. Even worse if you're hosting it. You can't even clean when you're drunk lol!

Also, holding a glass of alcohol is more glamorous than holding alcohol in a paper cup.. LOL! just the small things.

I don't enjoy partying NOR clubbing. Call me a prude or an old-fashioned, boring girl. I really don't care. I'm at the age where clubbing is just so pointless and it is a money-waster. Clubbing, to me, is for douchebags to meet equally douchey girls, IMHO.

Friendly get-togethers at a nice lounge or bar with close friends is so much more meaningful. I'm more of a fine, dine and wine kind of girl, (oh yes, I'm 23, and super old compared to half of MV). At this age, since I have a stable SO, and I'm moving towards a more serious part of my life, I don't feel the need to waste my precious time at a dirty Vancouver "club", or at stupid house parties.

Going clubbing and partying proves NOTHING of your charisma, success, or true character. NM.
