Rave: The Pink Peppercorn Seafood House

Hopefully there haven't been a previously written review about this restaurant.

Anyways, it's located along Kingsway and Knight. Right beside the Rona and across the street from WhiteSpot.
For those who has ever heard of or been to the Cannery, this is the reincarnation of it. All the favourites are there... the lobster bisque, seafood platters and of course, the salmon wellington.
The food there, as good, if not better than previously. The service, very personable and knowledgeable.
Unfortunately, their wine menu isn't as extensive as the Cannery.

While the exterior does looks a bit shady and the interior very dated, it's very quiet and intimate. Perfect place for dates or to hang with friends.

The price isn't cheap, but I still think it's a bit cheaper than the Fish House.
Those I know who has been there really enjoy the place, for I certainly do.

Pros: free parking, close by (of course it depends on where you're coming from), reasonably priced, quality

Cons: no view

My friend who lives nearby there has been raving about it too, he said the chef is the same one who worked at The Cannery. (Not 100% sure)

Yep, Eddy was the chef at the Cannery.
Sometimes he comes out to chat with you and see how is everything.
