    Hey you guys,

if you go to the outlets in the states pretty often, you seroiusly have to come check out this site:

Please login or register to view links

If you sign up with them, you can get coupons so that you\'ll even get more savings. And they give you a heads up on upcoming events, so you know when the good sales are. =)

Just select the outlets you normally go to, and they\'ll send you emails when there are specials. As for the coupons, check it before you go to the changes every once in a while.

I got a CK jacket..originally $80. It was 50% off, so it become $40. Then i had a extra 40% off coupon, which i printed off from the web, and i got it for a mere $25. How awesome is that?

I LOVE LOVE LOVE shopping in the states and visit those outlets frequently. I even went to their midnight madness on US Thanksgiving-was crazy there:S Sometimes there are coupons for an extra 30% off at banana and gap...gotta look out for those ones!
Banana Republic WAS taking Canadian gift Certificates at par(I\'ve done it 3 times) but the last time I tried they wouldn only take the exchange rate for it:(
We should organize a big bus trip down there;) kidding...kinda:p

ya same. i would like to get down there more often, but just don\'t find the time.

I\'m thinkin maybe if i have time during Spring Break that my gf and i will head down.

Oh another good place to go is Prime Outlets in Burlington (about 45 minutes from bellingham) they have some good things too.

This is where the Coach Factory store is located. I found this place and went and it was awesome!! :) :)

when i was in the Coach Factory in Burlington after xmas, i picked up a sweet purse marked down to $50 when it was marked at $159 (and my gf saw it in maui during xmas break for $250 american) so it\'s worth it to check it out.

    hey babyblues,
please do tell us how it is and which outlet you went to (bellingham, tulalip, burlington), i\'m curious what\'s out there. My bf and I are planning on going there on Sunday so yea,we don\'t know which one is good or worth going to.

Also, does anyone know how much clothing we can buy without delcaring it at the border? Or do we have to declare everything? I heard that if you buy more than $300 then you have to declare it but i\'m not sure. thanks!

you always have to declare everything, if you only spend about 100$ per person they\'ll ususally let you go without paying taxes. and it depends on what you buy too

Like she said, you have to declare everything you buy. The amount you can have without paying taxes, I\'m unsure but i think my parents have said around 60-70 is the time they start. However, the 2 times I have gone down lately, I have spent 70 and 100 and they havent done anything. The time I spent 100, he asked me how many times I go down. I guess he was thinking about taxing me but he didn\'t. :)
However, I only went down for one day. If you go down for longer the amount increases.

Ok, so my gf\'s and i went today and here\'s the scoop

Tulalip: Chelsea Premium Outlets (also known as seattle\'s premium outlets) the one with the coupons on the computer
Well, it was PACKED!!! i think b/c today was the last friday of spring break, everyone had the same idea. was a bit disappointed b/c alot of things were picked over. you really ahve to look. Puma was having 50% off of women\'s apparel (reg & sale price) men was 30% off, guess had 20% off purchase, nine west had buy one get one free, a jewelry store there had 70% off (so if anyone is looking to get an engagement ring \"hint\" there were some absolutely GORGEOUS ONES!! banana republic was having btwn 30/40/50% off of prices (regular and sale) it all depended on the item. Coach store didn\'t have much sale
i would suggest waiting a bit maybe (maybe a week or so) b/c things were pretty picked over.

Burlington: Prime Outlets (the one you pass when you\'re on your way to tulalip, after bellingham) Ok, this one had better stuff. We went there on our way back. Nine West had buy one get one, plus they had 30% off clearance stickers (anything with a red circle sticker) i bought a pair of knee high black boots reg $150 american and i got them for $40. Coach was waaaaaaayyyy better here. They have stacks of stuff for 20-30% off. my gf\'s got a nice big black classic coach bag (regular $500 and she got it for $150) and i bought a pink classic coach bag (regular $300 on for $114) Other stores there (gap, tommy, reebok) had a better selection.

Here\'s my suggestions: Ok, go to the tulalip one (it\'s off of exit 202) but go to the website first and print out the coupons you want and sign up for the vip voucher (Please login or register to view links) Then on your way back go to the prime outlets in burlington (it\'s on the way back anyway) Then go to bellisfair after if you want

How to go through with declaring: you can only bring about $75 roughly back before they make u declare. If you stay longer then one day then you can declare more. I know some people who will throw out their old clothes when they\'re down there and wear what they bought back up and throw the receipt away. But you have to be careful b/c if you get caught they\'ll tear your car up and make you put it back together.

Today, we didn\'t pay any duty at all, even with everything we bought...........that\'s b/c we\'re a bit sneaky ;)

Just signed up, and telling you, it's wayyyyyy worth it!!!!! I think there was a coupon for guess, for 20% of my already reduced purchase of 75$ or more, and then i think there was a Banana republic one, but I might be wrong. There were plenty more, in any case! Definatly worth checking out!!!!
