To BUY or NOT to buy, that is the question?

TO BUY OR NOT TO BUY?

Should I buy it here in Vancouver or in Las Vegas (July 21-24)
I love the pop of blue in the wallet

You should look into the different prices. You know in Vegas it might be cheaper or it might cost more, same in Vancouver. I understand its a very luxurious purchase but still a penny saved is a penny earned.
Anyway back to the point....buy it Looking forward to a picture of a matching bag

I don't know about the price difference so I guess I would have to wait to go to Las Vegas and see the price and compare it.
For the matching bag in blue, I actually have both of them the Boston medium bag in white/canvas and the Sukey medium in caramel/canvas

Even if it were to be cheaper in Vegas, they may tax you on it. Keep that in mind

They will tax you on it if it has tags on it, any cover or box its in. If it has no proof that it was just bought she is going to be fine. Its not like they write down everything you went with and will check it to make sure you still have the same amount

interesting fact: anything you cant proof you bought in canada, customs have the right to seize and/or fine

I got taxed when I wore certain things I bought down there going through customs. Even on stuff I already owned for years

I was just going to bring my LV eva clutch with no wallet and purchase a wallet there and fill it up with my cards and money to make it my own. I would like to keep the box just because I rotate my wallets so they don't get worn out and keep it in good shape. I guess it all comes down to pricing, we'll all find out at the end of the month of July.
They do ask where you get this and that even when your wearing the items, just got to have answers without hesitation. I haven't gotten taxed for any purchases and I do spend alot in the States. I assume it all depends on who you get.
Couple years back, my boyfriend and I went to Las Vegas and we were already passing the guards and got our bags and we got stopped right when were leaving and they asked us questions about, why we were there, what did we do, what did we buy, how much we sent, where did I get my handbag, where did he get his watch, they hassled about his watch, where did he get it, which store, when, and how much, but he didn't tax us.

Whatever floats your boat. You want it, buy it. Me, I like the $30 wallet with the $345 inside it.

Any ways, I would get it in Vancouver because even though in Vegas *let's say it's less then you'll save some money. But since you want to keep the box and all that jazz, it becomes a hassle lol and just in case you plan to sell it in the future. You might want to keep all the tags and the box so that you can sell it for a higher price.

Understandable since you have a family to feed. It's just that $30 dollar wallets doesn't last long and the card slots would rip easily or the zipper, button would come off, in the long run you'll be spending more wallets to replace than spending the extra money to buy a good quality one.

Not true. My $30 wallet I have had for 8 or 9 years now and it's still going strong. Never once had an issue. It's 100% leather, and had put up with more abuse than any wallet I have ever had. Has nothing to do with feeding a family, I can afford that if I wanted, I just cant see myself ever spending that much money on a wallet.

I was merely answering the first question, to wit I say, if you want it, buy it. It's your money, and if it makes ya happy, then go for it.

Sorry, I guess it was a 2 part question on my item. I didn't mean to make people angry on this thread. I just felt like some people like to take their time to think or have other's opinion on things and that's why I made this thread.

Just like how ELLE and kqx help me make my final decision on buying it in Vancouver.

i think this should be a main thread for people considering purchases. i recently wrote on the "what's on your mind" thread and asked the same question "to buy or not to buy" with a pic of pumps
