She said she was 14 but she's the best liar in the world. She might actually be 16. I don't really know. But I do know that she's way too young to pull this kinda stunt. If she doesn't stop doing this and she happens to get caught by like a girl who has a psychopath boyfriend, she will be in big pile of crap. She should realize that not all people are reasonable and nice as me (not trying to be conceited or anything :P) and that I'm mature enough to deal with things correctly and legally. But like I said, one day she will GET IT if she doesn't stop.

Some people she scammed on here were from Toronto, and they had to ship the stuff to her so they had her address.

Re: BEWARE!!! A WARNING when selling items on forums

Wow!! where did the information all came from?? That person also msged me and wanting to buy $120 worth of stuff from me, and asked if i take paypal, good thing i said no, i only accept cash =) even though we still do transactions in person, you should also be aware if the money is real or not. you can't be too sure with who you are dealing with if you don't know them.

Oh my goodness! I read how this type of trouble shes gotten herself into isn't a surprise and that she's done things like this before?
It only makes me sad and wonder where have her parents been all this time?

Re: BEWARE!!! A WARNING when selling items on forums

I had one experience where i was totally sure it was a fake. The girl wanted to meet up to pick up the item, but pay by paypal in a couple of days. She was very presistant about it too...

edit: omg just read all over the previous messages and I notied it's the exact same girl that wanted my stuff!

so glad I didn't go through it. She said she lived in bby, but wanted to pick it up and pay paypal

I'm still unsure of what REALLY went on myself.. I hope nobody minds me telling the story!
All I know is she was persistant about paying via Palpay instead of cash, but wanted to meet in person. The paypal account paid from was from a totally different name and not to mention-- different country! So some of us contacted this paypal email to confirm it was _____ paying.
Thats when the alarms went off and the paypal user tells us she suspects shes been scammed.
The paypal account user was paying us, the girls with the goods, under the impression that she was making payments to our emails for wholesale items(which didn't exist since it's a scam) that she was buying from Shelly Brown(is it confirmed that she doesn't exist and is really DTP?). She opened disputes with each of us that she paid on paypal.
So with things shipped out already, and exchange of clothing and goods, and the paypal dispute, some of us were/are left with nothing. But I think thats underway, and somethings being settled with getting the money back.

Re: BEWARE!!! A WARNING when selling items on forums

i just don't understand where the money is coming from to pay for the goods in the first place. i mean, if she paid through paypal and the seller agreed to meet in person, then that would mean the seller had RECEIVED the money PRIOR to meeting up with her. am i not right? unless the payment was not cleared or received, and the seller decided to go give his/her stuff away anyway. then wouldn't that be the seller's fault? lol i am just confused. cuz if the seller had not received any money, then why would they go meet up with her?

i think i'm missing a point here lol

haha OH i'm getting confused too.
I don't know about all the other girls from Vancouver/BBY that sold on mallvibes/list4a, but yes she did 'pay' through paypal prior to geting the goods.
The whole issue and warning is to make sure you're being paid via Paypal by the RIGHT person, and confirm it.
The paypal account wasn't DTP's, but she somehow came up with this scheme to get goods using someone else's money. The paypal account user lives in UK and saw an ad through --I don't even know what since her story isn't so straight either, and she was thought she was paying multiple payments through paypal, to diffe
