Phoenix is the 5th largest city in the states - its about 4 million people i think so its about dowble the size of vancouver

from:

Shopping in Phoenix

When shopping in Phoenix...

...visitors find a wonderful selection of upscale souvenirs such as beautifully handcrafted Native American turquoise jewelry and elegant lether goods.

Everything from the latest in fashionable apparel and designer cloth like Ralph Lauren Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein etc. to collectible artwork can be found at one of the many large shopping malls or tiny boutiques.
Favorite Greater Phoenix shopping malls include:

Biltmore Fashion Park
Kierland Commons
Desert Ridge Marketplace
Chandler Fashion Center,
Arizona Mills factory outlet mall
Arizona Center,
Scottsdale Fashion Square (the largest shopping mall in the Southwest),
Fifth Avenue Shops in Scottsdale,
The Borgata of Scottsdale,
Paradise Valley Mall
Fiesta Mall.

668 North Forty-Fourth Street, Suite 228, Phoenix, AZ 85008, 602-273-7268, Featuring ponds and gardens that showcase authentic replicas of pagodas and statuary from famous cities in China, this upscale cultural and culinary shopping center is one of the most advance Chinese architectural facilities in North and South America with numerous fine and distinctive Asian restaurants and specialty stores on site.
7611 West Thomas Road, Phoenix, AZ 85075, 480-994-8048, Very large 1,000,000 square foot shopping mall that is anchored by Dillard's, Sears, Burlington Coat Factory, and Mervyn's plus features over 125 specialty stores and restaurants, as well as a movie theatre. Click the image to open in full size.
4568 East Cactus Road, Phoenix, AZ 85032, 602-996-8846, Anchored by Dillard's, JC Penney, Sears, Robinsons-May, and Macy's, this popular mall also features over 160 specialty shops and restaurants, as well as an indoor children's playground and a seven-plex theatre

Kierland Commons (often referred to as just 'Kierland') is an upscale shopping area in north Phoenix with about 70 specialty stores and restaurants.
Anchor or main stores at Kierland Commons:
The largest retailers at Kierland are Crate and Barrel, Coldwater Creek, Anthropologie, Restoration Hardware and Barnes and Noble. Kierland Commons is located within the Kierland master-planned community, and is relatively new, having been completed in May 2000. It is not a traditional indoor mall. The Commons offers retails choices situated on manicured streets with one, two, and three-story buildings. It is designed to give shoppers a “main-street” feel. Kierland Commons also offers office space and residential lofts in addition to shopping and dining.

My favorite stores at Kierland Commons: Coach, White House/Black Market, Guess, Lucky Brand Dungarees, Tommy Bahama, Talbot's, Sur La Table.

Arizona Mills Mall

Arizona Mills is often promoted as an outlet mall, and there are outlet stores here but not all of them are. Are they cheaper? Sometimes yes, sometimes no! Arizona Mills is a favorite with the younger crowd; it has a reputation for being loud and crowded. Easy access by public transportation may be one of the reasons this is a favorite hang-out mall. There are about 170 stores and restaurants at Arizona Mills.
Anchor or main stores at Arizona Mills: Last Call from Neiman Marcus, OFF 5TH Saks Fifth Avenue Outlet, JCPenney Outlet Store, Burlington Coat Factory, Marshall's

My favorite stores at Arizona Mills: Kenneth Cole New York, Anchor Blue, Billabong, Disney Store, American Eagle Outfitters, Mikasa, IZOD, Nine West, Tommy Hilfiger, Virgin Megastore, Vans, Nike

Chandler Fashion Center

Sometimes referred to as Chandler Mall, or Chandler Fashion Mall, this newer mall was completed in 2001 and is the only mall in Chandler. There are about 180 stares in the mall. It has a unique shape (like the letter A) which can make it confusing to navigate.
Anchor or main stores at Chandler Fashion Center: The mall is anchored by Macy's, Sears, Nordstrom and Dillards.

My favorite stores at Chandler Fashion Center: At Ease, Eddie Bauer, New York & Company, Ann Taylor Loft, Abercombie, Carter's, Guess, Hot Topic, Aeropostale, Steve Madden, No Fear, Barnes and Noble, Discovery Channel Store, Pottery Barn, Build a Bear and Frederick's of Hollywood.
