August 6, 2007  True Religion Apparel Inc announced plans to open three new True Religion branded stores in Las Vegas. Spanning over five miles of Las Vegas, the three True Religion stores will be located in the Fashion Show Mall, the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood and in the Las Vegas Premium Outlets. Together they will comprise over 5,000 sq. ft. of retail space. Since each new branded store will showcase the entire collection of True Religion apparel, including the expanding line of denim, denim-related sportswear and its entire collection of licensed products, virtually every local and visitor will have the chance to find their perfect True Religion. "With more than 38 million visitors traveling to Las Vegas from around the world every year, Las Vegas provides us with a huge opportunity to bring our expanding line to an even greater number and more eclectic group of global customers," said Jeffrey Lubell, chief executive officer of True Religion Apparel. The 1,237 sq. ft. True Religion store in the Fashion Show Mall is scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of 2007 and will neighbor such fine retailers as Diesel, Coach, Lacoste, Louis Vuitton and department store anchors Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdales and Nordstrom. Thought by many as the premier retail destination in Las Vegas and one of the nation's largest shopping centers, the Fashion Show Mall, with over 250 stores and restaurants, is any shopper's dream. Located in the center of the Las Vegas Strip, the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood will include a 1,500 sq. ft. True Religion branded store scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of 2007. Premium adjacencies include French Connection, Urban Outfitters, BCBG, Lucky Brand and Sephora. Since its total make-over that transformed the 1.2 miles of prime retail space into a more sleek, urbanized and contemporary hot-spot, the newly re-branded, 170 store Miracle Mile Shops have especially resonated with the young, hipster crowd of Las Vegas. For those who desire outlet style shopping, the Las Vegas Premium Outlets in the heart of downtown Las Vegas will offer a 2,319 sq. ft. True Religion store alongside retailers such as Dolce & Gabbana, Coach, Lacoste, and Theory. The store is scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2008, but may open as early as December. Las Vegas Premium Outlets is considered one of the top outlet centers in the country, offering 435,000 sq. ft. of upscale, outdoor shopping to downtown Las Vegas with more than 120 high-end stores. "All three Las Vegas locations cater to different local and visiting clientele, providing multiple avenues to serve the True Religion customer," said Michael Buckley, president. "With two of these new locations opening before year end, we expect to end the year with a total of 15 locations strategically selected based on sales volume, customer traffic and overall fit with the True Religion brand. We remain confident that our True Religion branded stores will be a financial success."  |
