Yeah, the Cheesecake factory is fantastic for a really good hearty meal for a very decent price. Basically you won't feel ripped off :) One of my friends gets this steak/salmon/mashed potatoes combo, and she absolutely LOVES it.
For something very classy and modern try QUBE, the decor is beautiful and the food is actually really good, but the portions are very small like most expensive places. It's kind of a mixture of asian and french influences.
On a nice day, I recommend going to the Red Lion Hotel downtown and having lunch at the Terrace Garden Restaurant. Make sure to sit outside on the you guessed it...terrace! They have this crab sandwich thing that is really yummy!
Also, if you guys aren't really that hungry, go to the Pike Place Market and just buy a bunch of things to snack on! That is always fun :)
