Too many topics

I think there are way too many topics now so we are getting more repeat posts: for example, many of the sales under warehouse sales are also found under sample sales and BC's best deals. Also, it takes so long to click on the different topics only to find that only one or two threads are new. Before you could click on BC's best deals and see 10 new threads updated. Just a suggestion though, if other people like it then I'll deal!

Re: Too many topics

i actually agree with caroline- there seems to be a lot of double posts lately.. and i'm having trouble knowing under which topic to post stuff too since they sometimes overlap.. especially the last large section on shopping deals, sample sales, warehouse sales, coupons etc.

but.. i'm not really sure how to organize it better either :P

Re: Too many topics

I completely agree too. Sub topics are kind of annoying too. Just have a general discussion board and you could get rid of a lot of the non-shopping ones.

Re: Too many topics

not sure if this is a helpful solution.. but for example, the coupon thread. we can delete the ones that are 100% sure that doesn't work. like ive tried lots and i dont think they work at all lol. oh i mean the order online stuff, oh freebees!! thats what tehre called, but yeah.

edit: i also understand how its hard having to organize this whole site, and how its annoying and fustrating (spell check.. haha) trying to make it how it is now. and how somethings are disorganized and it makes it even harder to organize this site and make it all pretty! thanks for all your effort ryeguy:)

Re: Too many topics

I just wanted to ask...is there any way you can reformat the sponsors on the left side?? Move it, make it smaller or put it somewhere else? Im finding it super annoying when Im scrolling down a thread and it indents the first few then goes back to the side. Do you know what I mean?

Re: Too many topics

Glad to see I'm not the only one thinking this way. It seems like sample sales and warehouse sales should be posted together. And coupons and freebies should be together. Also, I don't know if it's possible, but removing offers that have expired or don't work as someone else said. Or links that haven't been talked about in a long time - they could be removed too. It might clean things up a bit. For example, a lot of the coupons or sales are good for only a couple days. Then they should just be taken down instead of cluttering. I'll try to think of some more solutions if I can - I know it's a lot of work for you Rye
